I don’t know about you, but when the
weekend is approaching I started daydreaming about one of my favorite
methods of relaxation: party. Having these delicious thoughts in mind
here raises the eternal unforgivable question: what to wear this
time? The party outfit dilemma is commonly the source for researching
about news on fashion trends. All fashion addict women look for
edgier, sassier and more extravagant ways to make their party outfit
noticed.
Dress or no dress
The number one choice for party women
outfits is the dress. Still the party dress concept has changed a lot
for the 2012-2013 trends. The fashion designers offer their fans
original, interesting ideas for party outfits. The contemporary woman
personality founds the party dress the perfect channel to be
outspoken about her most intimate and wild experiences and thoughts.
The party dress is long, short, mini,
asymmetric, flared, fitted, hugging forms, bell pepper cut, shiny,
glittering, transparent, vintage, chic-biker, in all colors and
materials. It is like everything goes and the imagination knows no
limits. Still, there is quite a large section of fashionable women
that are anti-dresses. This anti dress trend has opened the way for
party pants outfits. To give you some anti-dress ideas for a trendy
party outfits try matching suit pants in velvet with fluid golden
lame blouse, high heels and glittering maxi earrings or, a great
option for maxi dress the maxi jumpsuit in shiny materials.
Materials, Colors and Cuts
When the word party is associated with
trendy outfit it becomes clear that a fine, extravagant and precious
material is involved. Shinny lame in metallic colors has become one
of the most featured materials chosen by the designers to make party
outfits. Still, the traditional silk and tutu are among the favorites
as well. The 2012-2013 party outfits season brings out not only the
precious materials like silk, lame and now velvet but the unexpected
combinations with leather in neon colors, long spangles, metallic
sequins, feathers in cancan style and even metal tacks. All
influences are used to create the new Glam code, from boho chic to
Goth-rock.
The black code seems to have faded to
give way for the powerful colors in like neon lime yellow, green mint
and sky blue. The colors and the materials are two components tightly
bonded. For example the spangles and the sequin dresses come in sassy
violent colors. The glamour is obtained through the colors and the
light reflecting materials. On the other hand the extravagant, daring
cuts are more likely associated with different colored layers of tutu
and silk matched with corset tops.
Hot Accessories
The final touch of a successful party
outfit is the accessories. There are some simple rules to follow in
order to get that glam touch and still manage to keep it out of the
bling-bling area. For example, if a sequin material is involved and
on top of that a violent color is chosen, then keep the accessories
like earrings and purses low in quantity and sparkle. Too much can be
less elegant. The 2012 season of party trends has a soft spot for the
opulence and it is being channeled in accessories. So, maxi earrings
and neck collars are the must have.
The single one must have element for
party outfit, from 50 seasons back and still kept this season, is
very high heel, generally stiletto or thin platform, shoes and
sandals (rarely boots) and in metallic or sequined materials.
